Some of the more popular FREE press release distribution services have been found to charge as much as $250 per press release after adding some simple options. Some feel that it is a scam to trick people into ordering press release distribution and later find out that the cost to include a simple hyperlink or other basic features will cost hundreds of dollars.
Most of the FREE press release sites do not notify customers of these fees up-front before placing their order. This is not an honest way to conduct a business.

Most of the time the free press release distribution services are not free at all, once you get into the order process you will find that there are extra fees for even the most basic features. Some of the free PR distribution sites even require payments of $300 once they lure in customers expecting something valuable for free!
Only about 3% of the free press release sites are truly 100% free. Most of the free sites actually turn out to be much more expensive that the paid sites. This is very ironic.

Does the world need another free press release distribution site (free pr distribution)? There are thousands of them, mostly small "fly-by-night" start-ups. They never stay in business very long and they have such a bad image that they make their customers business look bad and unprofessional.
